New notification indicator
Hello,
I'd like to ask what is the intended behavior of the red indicator next to the notification bell. I am assuming it should show a red dot when you get a new notification that's not been read yet. But for us this doesn't work like half the time. Is this a bug then?

It seems that you have an issue with live updates (i.e., page updates without a page refresh). It usually points to infrastructure or environment issues, so if you run YouTrack on your server, firstly, make sure that you meet hardware and software requirements. Also, ensure that you use the latest YouTrack build, which is 2023.3.22912 at the time of this comment.
If you believe it's covered, please share the following details:
- your YouTrack version (shown under the ? icon in the upper right corner)
- post an update that should trigger a red dot but doesn't and record a HAR file when reproducing the issue
- share this HAR file with our team
