windows administrator password

What is the default administrator user / pass on a Windows installation?  I don't see this anywhere in the documentation.  I see root / root which appears to be for Linux and isn't working.  If there isn't a default one, how do I recover / create it?

you should use password you've entered on SetUp page for the user root. Any way you can reset root password by passing

-Djetbrains.charisma.restoreRootPassword=true parameter to the windows service

Thanks, that worked!  On Windows 7 I wasn't able to change the startup parameters via Services.  I had to add this string to the startup parameters for the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Apache Software Foundation\Procrun 2.0\YouTrack\Parameters\Java\Options.  Then I could login with root / root.  I don't that I was ever asked for a root or administrator password during setup but could be wrong.  Also, an uninstall and reinstall didn't prompt me for this, nor did it delete the database.  So now I can add groups, new projects, etc.  Thanks!

I'd recommend to use the next command:

sc start youtrack -Djetbrains.charisma.restoreRootPassword=true
