statemachine flow for state based on type

Is it possible to create a state machine workflow based on the issue type.

for example if the issue type was a task i would want to only display the following:
Todo->In progress->to be reviewed->done

but if it was a bug i would want different states to be available:
New->Duplicate->In Progress->Can't reproduce etc etc.
