Custom field to identify sprints?

I read trough the documentation (especially sprint related) and see on http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/YTD4/Configuring+Agile+Board that it should be possible to configure which field to identify sprints. This would be solve alot of issues for us since "fix versions" or "affected versions" is not a good fit for sprint identification (in our process anyway).

So, when will 4.0.2 be out? Is it possible to use some beta builds?

Is it possible to do this right now by hacking? Or do you have some other strategies that it's worth trying?

Yes it's possible, actually on creation Agile Board tries to find first applicable version field, so you can delete existent version fields and create you own new. And then create new Agile for a project. After that you field should be associated with Agile.

Alternatively you can simply rename existent version field. And then create new fields wich will represent "fix versions" and "affects version" if you needs them.

Worked perfectly. Thanks!

But, I have a problem when using version[1] (single) type instead of version[*] (multiple). When using multiple it works fine when searching like "Sprint: Sprint 11". But when using single value the query "Sprint: Sprint 11" does not work, only "#{Sprint 11}" works and the command is also not working.

Anything that I am missing or a bug?

Looks like incorrect search. Did you try use "Sprint: {Sprint 11}" in both cases. If it still doesn't find anything, report a bug, please.
