How to create plugin to customize rendering?

I have a WAR installation under Tomcat, and I need to add support for MathJax to issues so I can have formulae as well as text. How can I customize the header of the generated pages? All I need is to add some JS instructions in there, but I have no idea how to get YT to pick up on it. Thanks.

Hello Dmitri,

Unfortunately, in current version of YouTrack it's impossible, we have no support for this. But implementation of supporting this is planned for our next release - YouTrack 5.0.
