PDF attachments open as full pages in the current browser tab
When clicking on an attachment in an issue, if the attachment is an image, it opens up in a pop-up window and can be closed via the "X" in the upper right corner. If the attachment is an MS-Word file, it is downloaded. But if it is a PDF document, it is opened in the current browser tab. Then, to get back to YouTrack, we must click the browser "back" button. We'd prefer if PDF's opened in a new browser tab.

You're able to open the attachment in new tab clicking the middle mouse button.
Thank you.
Thanks for your reply.
I am using a Mac, so I have no middle mouse button :-). However, if I hold down the Command key while clicking, the attachment will open in a separate browser tab. But since other attachments can be viewed just by clicking, and they do not take over the current tab, it would be preferable if the default click-attachment behavior for PDFs would not take over the current tab.
