How to create a Query to get all Issues with a work-item in a specific time frame
Hi,
I try to create a query to get all tickets containing at least 1 Work-Item that was created/edited in specific time frame, for example all Tickets where somebody added a work item between the 1st and the last of July.
I know I can achieve something like that with a report so somehow it should be possible...
I have tried and tried, but I just don't get it. Can anybody help me further on this?
Thanks a lot and Regards

Unfortunately, searching for and by work items are not available at the moment.
The closest is searching for issues were updated in particular period:
Thank you.
thank you for your quick answer.
Is anything planned for the near future for this? Now it is not possible to do time-management in Youtrack because there is no way to get the entered times out again. On the report, I also don't get the detailed times, only summarized per Ticket as far as I can see (If I am wrong then please let me know).
If I query for the issues that were updated in the particular period, is that based on any update or only the last update? In other words: if I add a work item in July and another one on August and I query for all issues that were updated in July, does that issue appear on the resulting list then? Even if the last update has been made in August?
Thanks in advance and regards
Hans
Sorry for a short delay!
It's based on last update.
Yes, searching by work items is planned, here is the feature request.
Speaking of work types, please enable 'Show work types' option on Reports screen. Just to double check, I assume use work types when log work items, correct?
Thank you.
yes, we use Work-Types.
I have put my vote on the feature request.
Thanks and regards

Appreciate your vote.
But still, could you please clarify this one: 'On the report, I also don't get the detailed times, only summarized per Ticket as far as I can see (If I am wrong then please let me know).' ? Taking into account you use work types, what do you mean here?
Thank you very much.
if I run the report I only see the total time spent per Issue per User, but I would like to see every single time-entry with Date, Description and Time-Spent. I want to export this to our financial system so I can create an overview for our customers where they can see who spent how many time on which issue on every single day.
If we could get this information via the REST-API, that would make it perfect :-)
Regards
Hans
