Max Issues to Export question

I see that the max issues to export is by default set to 500.  I also see here in the docs:

http://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/YTHB/Managing+Basic+Settings

the note:

The limit is set to avoid the possibility to overload YouTrack instance.

What's a reasonable number to set this to?  I'm being asked to set it to 100,000 by one of our users...

Thanks!

Hello Jerry,

The reasonable number of export is always depends on what is test case for export. Cases may differs and its load may be different, i.e. users queries for exporting to CSV always differs by their server load, export for further migration to another tool may have different queries and loads, too. There is no unambiguous answer to your question, but 100000 issues query is difficult to export via YouTrack user interface.
I would like to suggest you to use our Python Client Library (http://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/YTD4/Python+Client+Library)to execute such load query.

Feel free to contact us if have any questions.
Thank you.
