Importing from Mantis loses slashes in the titles and descriptions, breaking URLs

I am trying to import our existing issues from Mantis into YouTrack. The import seems to have run fine, and lots of issues have been created, but I've noticed some things have not come across correctly.

The first thing I've noticed so far is that any tickets with a '/' in the title or body have had the slash replaced with a space, so for example a ticket with the title "Adding record with a / breaks layout".

This also affects all URL's in a description, as all the slashes are replaced with spaces.

I have been using the latest importer linked from the website, against the latest version of Mantis.

Seems like a bug in the importer, so I've created a ticket for it http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/JT-19435.

Will I need to delete the already-imported issues, or will the importer overwrite existing text?
