Workflow to email to "custom field"
Is there anyway to generate emails to "custom fields" ?
We have a custom field for a special type of group email so when we create issues we type in "group123@somewhere.com" in that field. Later, upon a status change we want to notify that email group.
I can't seem to find a way to email via a workflow or to call maybe via AJAX another url or something in order to accomplish this.

I'm interested in this as well. We have a lot of random email addresses we'd like to notify and creating a user for them each time is really time consuming. A custom field which would contain a random email address when needed for notification would be great.
