Different BaseURL internal / external
Hi,
We have a YouTrack install on one of our server in our own network. Configured to use the BaseURL of our internal hostname. This YouTrack install is also accessible from outside our network via a portforwarder in our firewall. When you access it from outside, using our outside hostname, it get's forwarded to the BaseURL which is our internal hostname. Is there a way to disable this BaseURL redirecting or some other workaround?
Kinda regards,
RH84

Sorry for short delay!
Is it possible for you to set BaseURL which is available for outside users?
Thank you.
Thanks for details.
Ok then. How did you install YouTrack? Are there any web-servers above in your configuration?
Thank you.
I noticed something strange. To test the access from outside our network, I SSH'd to a linux server outside of our network and used lynx to connect. I get the login screen and can login but are forwarded to the BaseURL, which is the internal hostname. When I login from home with Chrome, I do not get forwarded to the BaseURL and can use the system. So it works in a normal browser, not from the commandline (which was just for testing).
