Tablet Youtrack makes double click instead of single click

Since our YouTrack upgrade (from 2021.4.36872 to 2024.1.28928) the tablet behaviour works differently.

On Issue page, when we clicked on any field (like the red one, what is a user list in the example), the list should be appeared. Instead, the whole ticket opens up. This behaviour never appears by clicking on a field on desktop, only on double click.

Tested on several browsers, all the same.

Thanks for sharing this with us. UI behavior can change between YouTrack versions as we aim to align with standard interaction patterns. Double-clicking isn’t a typical method for opening drop-down lists, and currently, we don't plan to revert to this behavior. Could you share more about your workflow? Perhaps we can suggest an alternative that works well with the current design.

Hi Sergey,

We don't actually double click on issue field, I just noticed that a double click on desktop opens the issue, instead the dropdown. 

With a single click on a field, the dropdown should be appear, am I right? 
When we work on a tablet, and tap on any list type of fields of an issue, the dropdown is not appearing, instead the whole issue pops up. 

 

What I want to do is to quickly edit issue fields in issue search view, without actually opening the issues.
