Landing URL via email message

Hello,

I've noticed that when a new issue is created via email or a form, YouTrack generates a special "landing URL" with a token, allowing access to the issue without authentication. However, when replying to email notifications, the links provided are regular issue URLs that require login.

  • How exactly are these landing URLs with tokens generated?
  • Is it possible to configure YouTrack so that reply notifications also include such links?
  • Are there settings to control when these tokenized links are used?

I need to ensure that users receiving email notifications can access issues without authentication, similar to how it works when an issue is first created. Any insights would be appreciated!

Hi Ssgadzhi 

Such URLs can only appear in the first notification after the ticket creation, and it is not possible to somehow generate them in other notifications yet. We have a feature request to add such links to all reporter's notifications, though: JT-80213. Please feel free to vote for this request.
