How to add an item to the backlog at a certain position
When I add an item to the backlog using the “New Issue” Button in the Issues view (https://myproject.youtrack.cloud/search/Backlog-7) , the new item gets added at the bottom (and it is only visible after refreshing the page in the browser). Is this really the way we are supposed to add items to the backlog!?
I would like to add a new item at a certain position in my custom order of the backlog. Is there a way to achieve that?Am I missing something?

Hello!
An agile board's backlog is based on a saved search. When you manually reorder issues in a saved search, as described here, and use the search for the agile board's backlog, the specified custom order will be preserved. While there's no option to create an issue in a particular position in the list, if you add a new issue, you can then drag and drop it to the desired position in the Issue list, and it'll be moved accordingly in the backlog as well. Furthermore, you can set the ordering of issues in a saved search using the corresponding query attributes.
You can also create an issue and move it to the desired position right in the Agile board.
I couldn't reproduce the problem with the issues not appearing in the Issue list or in the Backlog if the page is not refreshed, but I couldn't get the same result. The issue appeared on both lists without requiring a page refresh. If this problem persists after clearing your browser's cache and cookies, please submit a request at https://youtrack-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/requests/new, and we'll investigate the issue further.
