VCS (Bitbucket) integration link issues from commit message

Hi,

I have an issue with ID "XXYY-123" - am I correct in assuming that if I have a VCS integration enabled for a repository/project, that i should see commits with "XXYY-123" in the commit message associated to that issue under the VCS Integration tab on the issue?

This is not automatically added, how do I troubleshoot it?  Is there a log where errors might pop up, or what?

+ Youtrack 2017.1
+ Bitbucket user and Youtrack user shares the same email address (username not exactly the same thought)

Thanks

Haai - from that page/section, I'm referring to this part:

  • Reference YouTrack issues in your commit messages to create links from the VCS to YouTrack.

It works when I do this:

  • Paste commit hashes into an issue summary, description, comment, or string-type custom field to create links from YouTrack to the VCS.

So I'm referring to the first point.

Does that answer your quesiton, or am I misunderstanding?

If I understand you correctly, the issue should be mentioned like this in commit message: #XXYY-123

Hi - I have tried #XXYY-123, XXYY-123 and @XXYY-123 - none of them worked.

Is it possible to upgrade to the latest version of YouTrack?

Hi - we upgraded to the latest version, and the same issue still persists. How do I troubleshoot what the issue is?

Hi - this works using the TeamCity integration, but I ideally want the commits to link straight to bitbucket, not TeamCity.... Any ideas?

bump - anyone?

It was working for a while, and then stopped.  It's on and off & not constantly working. .
