Keep ID in notification E-Mail


when someone sends a support request to our helpdesk project, the user gets a notification email from YouTrack automatically with the according ID. So it will say: "SUPPORT-108 I have an issue" whereas the SUPPORT-108 part is the short name of the project.

Now when I add a commect to that ticket a reply gets sent out but unfortunately it looses the "SUPPORT-108" part in the subject. How can I make sure this stays?

Hi Andrew,

Did I get you right that you'd like to have issue id in notifications which are sent to issue reporters (unregistered users, external users)?
