Do not opened more than 5 tabs at a time

Good day, developers of the best tracker!
After installing the update version 2018.4, I encountered the following problem: I can’t open in browser Chrome version 71.0.3578.98 more than 5 tasks at the same time. 5 tasks opened in new tabs without problems, and the next ones hang and wait for downloading. It appears the same for the other colleagues too.
Please, help me solve this problem, becose the developers whine, they say that they have become uncomfortable to work and they demand to return the previous version. = (

Hello Karpus, thanks for the nice words :)

It looks like a known issue, please check that the reverse proxy you're using supports HTTP/2. More information on recommended configuration parameters here: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/standalone/Reverse-Proxy-Configuration.html

Let us know if that helps.

Liubov, good afternoon!
Our admins are somewhat confused: we do not use Reverse Proxy.
They are asked to suggest where they can tune the performance of Tomcat INSIDE Youtrack?

Please don't leave me!

Hello Karpus,

I'm sorry for the delay.

To fix the problem you need to enable HTTP/2 and also set up a secure HTTPS connection with TLS (SSL) for your YouTrack. Here you can find some information on how to configure HTTP/2 and SSL, either with or without a reverse proxy server: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/standalone/YouTrack-Supported-Environments.html#http-2-and-tls

Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Liubov, good afternoon. We were able to deal with this problem. We were not allowed to configure HTTP / 2, but installing a reverse proxy server was enough. Thank you very much for your help!

We're using 2019.1, with TLS and HTTP/2, with a reverse proxy that's set up to what's recommended, and still seeing this issue. Is there a ticket somewhere that's tracking this?

Trevor,

Please create a support request (https://youtrack-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=66282) and share fresh Youtrack logs and a HAR-file recorded on opening any YouTrack tab which opens successfully.

Thank you.

After a bit more investigation, we were mistaken: our instance hasn't upgraded to http/2 yet. We'll do that and let you know if that fixes it.

Sure, please keep us posted.

Upgraded to http/2 and that fixed it. Thanks!
