Hello, thank you for your question.

Localized names for field values are only available for predefined values. We assume that all the new values that you add yourselves are already localized to your YouTrack language.

Could you please elaborate a bit, how do you use localized names, what is your use case here? Thanks in advance.

At the moment i didn't have a real use case...
Maybe one day if a have some 'freelance' with other primary langague and they want to have the GUI in their native langague !

Assuming localized value is only for predefined  value because user only create thing in their langague, is understandable choice...

But if you don't know that, the GUI look like there are a bugg somewhere :D

Seem found issue ...

in workflow the Name is return ...

So i have to deal with no-localized value for predefined value,
And localized value ( with special caractaire ect ... ) for custom value.

Hello, sorry for the delayed reply.

Could you please share the code of the workflow that you're referring to? It would help us understand the situation better. Thank you!

Hello, I want to use localized name for auto-translate the name of the labels imported from GitHub.

When I import Open, that exists as predefined, the import uses it and the tag is showed in my language.

The script: @jetbrains/youtrack-github-issues-client

Is just an example, I think that It would be useful for many cases.

Can you please detail what you are referring to? Do you want to have tags or fields in multiple languages? What's your goal here? Thanks.
