Use Youtrack Licence

We have a licence for 100 users.

I´m deploying a test server for testing restoration of backups. In the last step of the "Upgrade" wizard  when I.m trying to restore the data, the wizards ask for "Licence". If I try using FREE licence, press finish, a "validating" message appears but no change and stuck there. (free licence is for 10 users, we have more than 10)

Can I use our paid licence for testing ? Can this workaround "deactivate" the licence in the production server ? 

It's very problematic if our production server fall down.

I'm Sergey from the YouTrack team.

Unfortunately, per License Agreement, the same license key can't be used in two instances simultaneously:

iii) run one instance of Server with a single License Key

At the same time, the free license should be more than enough for testing purposes since you get access to the same functionality with just a limited number of active users. So if it doesn't work with the free license, there should be some other underlying issues. To investigate it further, feel free to submit a private support ticket and share an archive of your YouTrack logs directory.
