Change the reporter of a helpdesk ticket

Hello, we are just changing from a different ticket system to youtrack.

So when we anster a last time to tickets in the old sytem the e-mails will be sent in CC to our support-e-mail, which are fetched now from youtrack.

BUT: The reporter now is our support-e-mail-adress.

How can I change the reporter to the real reporter?

There's currently no option to change the ticket reporter. We have a corresponding feature request in our public tracker: JT-77750. If interested, please feel free to vote for this issue. Your vote helps us measure feature demand and automatically subscribes you to updates. To do so, sign in to JetBrains YouTrack and click the thumbs-up icon.

In general, if a ticket is created via an email, the reporter is defined based on Reply-to and From headers in the source email.
