Adding a New User to a Project Chris Stephens Created November 17, 2022 10:15 Hi, I can't find out how to invite a new user to join my project. I looked in the FAQ, which says go to Settings -> Users, but I can't even find a link to Settings?? Help please!
To add a new user to a project, you need to create a user in YouTrack. You can [invite a user](https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/Create-User-Accounts.html#InvitingNewUsers) to join your YouTrack, [create a user manually](https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/Create-User-Accounts.html#create-user-manually), or allow users [to register in YouTrack](https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/cloud/Create-User-Accounts.html#configure-hub-procedure). The first two methods require **Read User Basic** and **Create User** permissions, and the third one requires **Low-level Admin Write**. If you have these permissions, you need to open the **Administration** menu (a nut icon in the top right corner) and proceed according to the documentation.
If you don't see this menu, then you need to ask your YouTrack administrator to set up the needed user account.
